From childhood we have explored it and learned how to love and respect it. These strong ties with and love for nature, expressed in the hundreds of small details in and around the farmhouse and the large number of sustainability certificates we have been awarded over the years, are deeply rooted within us.

Love for animals and the land is something handed down to us by those who came before, and soon you’ll be able to feel it too: animals from picture books, photographs and TV screens will move before your very eyes, and on your walks through fields and meadows you’ll feel that the earth lives and breathes.

The food we cook is a delicate mixture of homegrown ingredients from the field and from our herb and flower garden, seasoned with the creativity of cooks Vilma and Urška. Our grandmothers’ recipes updated for the 21st century.

We love forests and we love wood. Hand-crafted, it takes shape as a bed, a cupboard, a table or a chair. Home-produced objects fill our rooms, where you will be lulled to sleep by the deep silence and darkness of our portion of the natural world, and where your morning view will be from a balcony nestled below the slopes of Zreško Pohorje.
